Monster Hunter: World Iceborne Takes a Trip to Hoarfrost Reach

Monster Hunter: World made an appearance this E3 with its upcoming expansion Iceborne. Capcom was eager to show off the new game with an introductory trailer to the new content as well as a series of live streams going more in-depth on the information as well as showing off the new monsters in combat. While in the Hoarfrost Reach, the bitter cold will force users to consume heated goods to resist diminishing effects of the cold. New monsters native to land will stalk the environment, as well as returning creatures who have adapted to the cold environs.

Featuring new content to rival the base game, including a new region, new home base, new monsters, and new equipment, Monster Hunter: World Iceborne is a massive expansion coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019. The PC version is set to follow sometime after the release of the console versions. Iceborne will be priced at $39.99, with a bundle including the base game at $59.99.
