Larian Studios Announces Baldur’s Gate III

Larian Studios has announced that it is currently developing a new entry in the Baldur’s Gate series of Dungeons & Dragons RPGs, Baldur’s Gate III. Few details about the game’s story are known at this time, other than the teaser trailer showing the return of a malevolent presence to Baldur’s Gate.

Larian Studios is working with Wizards of the Coast on Baldur’s Gate III, and has stated that the game will be based on the latest fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons ruleset. The game will be playable in single player or with friends and will feature a focus on player freedom and high-stakes decisions. Baldur’s Gate III is being developed for PC and Google Stadia, with no details provided regarding a release window.
