Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to Add Story Creator Mode and Discovery Tour

Ubisoft has announced two new modes coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The first of the new modes is Story Creator Mode, which lets players create new quests and share them with other players using a web-based tool. The creator features six quest objective types — such as assassination, rescue, or reaching a specific place — as well as the ability to create branching dialogue and quest paths and to cast characters from the game into new roles. The Story Creator is currently available as an open beta to all Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players, and players are able to share their creations across platforms.

Ubisoft also announced that Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece is coming to the game. Like the Discovery Tour in Assassin’s Creed Origins, it will let players explore the game’s open-world version of Greece without any conflict or gameplay constraints. There will be over 300 stations where players can learn about Ancient Greece’s philosophy, war, daily life, mythology, and architecture. There will also be interactive quizzes at the end of each tour. Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece will be added as a free update early in fall 2019.
