Moonlighter Between Dimensions DLC Announced

Digital Sun Games and 11 bit studios have announced new DLC for Moonlighter. The Between Dimensions DLC will be released sometime in the summer of 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The announcement of the DLC comes with news that the game has sold over 500,000 copies since its launch in May 2018.

Between Dimensions will add new monsters that appear in the game’s current dungeons, while a new Interdimenional Dungeon will challenge players with numerous powerful mini-bosses. The DLC will include new weapons, armor, shop items, and accessories, and will add in new Trick Weapons that grant special powers but may also come with other, less desirable effects.

One part shopkeeping and one part dungeon-crawling, Moonlighter follows Will, a shopkeeper who at night visits the nearby ruins for adventures and danger. During the day, Will manages a store, interacts with the other townsfolk, and can craft and enchant weapons. The game transforms into an action RPG at night with customisable loot, randomly-generated dungeons, and varied playstyles. To mark the announcement, the game is currently on sale on Steam and the North American eShop, with the Euroepan eShop to receive the discount on April 11, 2019.
