New Gameplay Trailer Available for Outward

Outward, slated to be released in March 26, 2019, has been given another trailer by publisher Deep Silver. Developed by Nine Dots, the trailer is titled “Dev Diary #1 – Adventuring” demonstrates some of the challenges the player will experience while playing Outward. It is stated in the trailer that many games remove the feeling of immersion by offering too much hand-holding, and Outward is taking a different approach. The dev diary explains that Outward is meant “for those who aren’t afraid of feeling vulnerable.”

Outward is an open-world fantasy adventure game featuring deep simulation and immersion. In it, players will experience an entirely new kind of RPG, where they play the role of a true inhabitant of a sprawling world, requiring biological maintenance and self-preservation against a harsh, uncaring environment. Outward will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Hi, I'm Peter. I grew up on the NES and beyond, fell in love with the SNES, and established my roots in JRPGs very early. My favorite franchise will always be Final Fantasy. I'm also incredibly terrible at writing my own bios.
