Death end re;Quest Sweetens the Deal with Limited Edition

Compile Heart’s Death end re;Quest is receiving a Limited Edition for its upcoming North American and European releases. The Limited Edition will be available for pre-order this week from Idea Factory’s Online Store, Iffy. Iffy’s North American Online Store will have its Limited Edition available for purchase at 10 AM PST on January 22, 2019, at a retail price of $79.99, while Iffy’s European Online Store‘s pre-order page won’t go live until the actual day of the pre-order. The Limited Edition will include the following items:

• Steel game case
• White Rabbit Archives, a 63-page compendium featuring character bios, artwork, and monster entries
• OST featuring 24 tracks
• Mouse Pad
• Reversible Cover Sleeve
• Collector’s Box
• North American customers will also receive exclusive DLC weapons Lily’s Atomic Spray, Clea’s Mach Raid, and Celica’s Venus Blade

Arata Mizunashi is a video game programmer who receives a mysterious message from Shina Ninomiya, his colleague who went missing a year prior. Together, the two had worked on creating World’s Odyssey, a VRMMORPG, before Ninomiya’s disappearance halted the game’s completion. It appears as if Shina has actually been trapped within the virtual world, and Arata must now help her complete the game in order to help her escape. Death end re;Quest releases for PlayStation 4 on February 19, 2019, in North America, and February 22, 2019, in Europe.
