New Difficulty Modes Added to Vampyr

DONTNOD Entertainment and Focus Home Interactive’s supernatural RPG Vampyr has received a new update adding new difficulty options to the game. There are two new modes, with Story Mode de-emphasising combat and putting more focus on letting players enjoy the game’s narrative. Meanwhile, Hard Mode makes the game more challenging by reducing the experience earned from enemies, making players rely on more on feeding on citizens for power. The update also includes certain bug fixes as well as adding Nvidia Ansel support to the game’s PC version.

Vampyr is an action RPG set in 1918 London during the outbreak of the Spanish Flu. Players control Jonathan Reid, a doctor who is turned into a vampire and must deal with his new thirst for blood. Those looking to read more about Vampyr can check out Zack Webster’s review.
