Metal Max Xeno Shows New Trailer Featuring a Real Girl

NIS America has released a new trailer for its upcoming Kadokawa Games-developed armored vehicle RPG, Metal Max Xeno. In the minute-and-a-half video, the player’s party, while searching for an old library, makes a surprise discovery. Awaiting them in the ancient archives is Maria, a machine-gun-toting girl busy blowing a series of tanks to smithereens. The trailer ends with Maria enlisting the party’s assistance as more machines close in on them.

Metal Max Xeno is a revival of the classic Metal Max series of post-apocalyptic RPGs. Already released in Japan, localized versions are set to be released in North America on September 25, 2018, and Europe on September 28, 2018. Though it originally appeared on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, it will be a PS4 exclusive outside of Japan.
