Banner of the Maid Receives ChinaJoy Trailer

While at the ChinaJoy conference held earlier this month in Shanghai Chinese, developer CE-Asia released a new trailer for its upcoming title Banner of the Maid. The two-minute video introduces some more of the game’s characters — who are based on key people from the latter stages of the French Revolution, during which Napoleon Bonaparte rose to power — as well as showing some of its tactical RPG gameplay.

Players control Pauline Bonaparte, a new graduate of a military academy and the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte. While visiting her brother, Pauline is dragged into the ongoing revolution, with the game’s version of events incorporating unspecified fantasy elements. The game is planned for worldwide release sometime in 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
