Ys VIII Finally Hits PC Next Week

NIS America has announced that the delayed PC version of Nihon Falcom’s Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will be released on April 16, 2018. The game will be available through Steam and GOG.com, with those who buy the game during its first week on sale receiving the following bonuses for free:

  • Adol’s Adventure Essentials DLC (including the “Silver Armor” and “Adventurer’s Clothes” costumes)
  • Digital mini art book
  • Digital soundtrack sampler
  • Laxia’s “Eternian Scholar” costume

The latest title in Nihon Falcom’s long-running action RPG series, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was initially released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017, with an updated localisation released via patch in January 2018. The PC version features all the content from the PlayStation 4 version, plus the updated localisation. A Switch version is also set to be released in North America on June 26, 2018, with the European release following on June 29, 2018.
