The Lost Child Shows Its Astrals

NIS America has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming North American and European release of Kadokawa Games’ The Lost Child. The video focuses on the game’s Astrals, beings that inhabit overworldly spaces called Layers. Players will face off against these beings as they go about investigating strange occurrences caused by these Layers, and can use a special device to capture them and have them fight on the player’s side.

Astrals comes in three types: Angels, Fallen Angels, and Demons, each representing a side in the Holy Feud between Heaven and the Underworld (with the mortal world caught inbetween). The Angels’ roster includes Astrals such as Morrigan, Artemis, and Amaterasu. The Fallen Angels include Quetzalcoatl, Cait Sith, and Typhon. The Demons include Echidna, Medusa, and Shoggoth.

The Lost Child follows occult journalist Hayato Ibuki as he finds himself in the center of a celestial conflict. The game will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch on June 19, 2018, in North America and June 22, 2018, in Europe. More details about The Lost Child can be found on its official English website (has auto-playing sound).
