Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics Confirmed for Console

Ripstone Games has confirmed that it will be bringing the upcoming adaptation of Mophidius’ tabletop Actung! Cthulhu setting to consoles. In addition to its previously announced PC version, Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics: Forest of Fear will also be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later this year.

Actung! Cthulhu combines World War II and the Cthulhu Mythos for its setting, with a band of Allies fighting a secret war against the Nazi’s Black Sun and Nachtwolfe, who are using the Mythos’ ancient secret and beings to try and achieve victory. In Tactics, players control a squad stuck behind enemy lines as they try to foil a Nazi plot. The game is currently in the late stages of a Kickstarter campaign, with the funds raised being used to add additional content and features to the game.
