Defender’s Quest Hits Consoles in February
Level Up Labs announced that its tower-defence/RPG hybrid Defender’s Quest: Valley of the Forgotten DX will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe. The game will release on PlayStation 4 first on February 20, 2018, followed quickly by the Xbox One release a day later. The PlayStation Vita version, meanwhile, just has a Q1 2018 period.
A physical release for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions will be made available through Limited Run Games, but is not expected until April 2018 at the earliest. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions will also feature both Cross-Buy and Cross-Save. All digital versions of the game will be priced at $14.99.
Defender’s Quest: Valley of the Forgotten was originally released for PC in 2012, receiving an upgraded DX version in 2016, which the console release is based on. Level Up Labs is also working on a sequel, Defender’s Quest II, which is being built on the engine used for Defender’s Quest DX.
