A new update is now available for Rune II. The Duplicity update adds a new dungeon, as well as new PvP modes.

The revamped version of Rune II is now available on Steam. The Decapitation Edition features a reworking of the original game’s campaign and plenty of new features.
After its revamped campaign launched on the Epic Games Store in September, Rune II is heading to Steam. The Decapitation Edition will launch next month.
Despite the original developer closing down when the game launched, Rune II is getting a major update. The update will launch next week and includes a revamp of the main campaign, including new dungeons and more.
Human Head Studios’ Rune II is out now for PC on the Epic Games Store. Following the launch, the developer announced it is closing down, though its staff will be joining a new studio under Bethesda.
When Ragnarok threatens the world, the god’s selected champion must venture out and put a stop to the end of days. Rune II allows players to select a deity to follow and have godlike powers bestowed upon them.
In not remotely surprising news, Loki is causing chaos. The latest trailer for Rune II highlights his latest meddling, which is causing Ragnarok to reset.
This game’s Loki is not played by Tom Hiddleston. That makes it ok to slaughter him. It’s also ok to slaughter other players. There’s just a lot of slaughtering. It’s a Viking game.

Turns out the only thing worse than the end of days is the prospect of being trapped in an apocalypse time loop by a mad god. Players can put an end to Ragnarok when Rune enters Steam Early Access this September.
Another Norse-inspired RPG, Rune: Ragnarok, is in development. Though we do not yet know the platforms or likely release period, there is now a trailer to watch.
