Rune II: Decapitation Edition Now Available

Publisher Ragnarok Game and developer Studio 369 have released Rune II: Decapitation Edition on Steam. The release is a revamped edition that includes a rework of the game’s main storyline and campaign, the addition of dungeons, a skill tree system, and new quests and events. The revamped version is also available as a free update to those who purchased Rune II on the Epic Games Store.

Rune II is not a direct sequel to the original game, but takes place in the same universe. The game was originally developed by Human Head Studios and released for PC on the Epic Games Store in 2019, with Human Head Studios closing down and reforming as a new studio within Bethesda Softworks immediately after the game’s release. Studio 369 was formed in the aftermath to rework the game.
