Chained Echoes: Ashes of Elrant DLC Out Now

Deck13 Spotlight and Umami Tiger have released Chained Echoes: Ashes of Elrant, the DLC expansion to turn-based RPG Chained Echoes. The DLC is available for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, priced at $9.99 with a 10% launch discount.

Ashes of Elrant is set right before the final fight in Chained Echoes and takes players to a new land, offering around ten to fifteen hours of new content. It sees the Clan of the Crimson Wings answering a call for help from the land of Elrant, adding a new playable character and revealing more about the origin of the Order of Leonar and Lenne’s past. The DLC includes new areas to explore, over 40 new enemies and bosses, over fifteen new music tracks, new equipment and items, and a new fishing mini-game.

Chained Echoes released in December 2022 for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. It follows a group of heroes who are brought together to try to end a continental war and destroy a recently uncovered weapon of mass destruction. The game finished runner-up for RPGamer’s 2022 Best Turn-Based RPG award, and those looking to read more about it can check out Pascal Tekaia’s review of its PlayStation 4 version as well as Johnathan Stringer’s 2022 interview with developer Matthias Linda.
