In addition to the 2025 Content Pass, there will also be a The Elder Scrolls Online: 2025 Premium Edition available to purchase. This includes the standard edition of The Elder Scrolls Online, all previously released expansion chapters (Morrowind through to Gold Road), all previously released classes, and the 2025 Content Pass. Access to the game and previous chapters will be granted immediately upon purchase.

The Seasons of the Worm Cult adventure focuses on the isle of Solstice, which is divided by the mysterious Writhing Wall and beset by the dreaded Worm Cult. It continues a story thread from the base game, though players are stated to not need to have completed the base game to access or enjoy it. The Writhing Wall event will see players teaming up to assault the magical barrier that the Worm Cult uses to protect its activities and break through to the other side.

In addition, the release of Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1 will come with a major free update for all players. The update will introduce a new Subclassing system that allows players to replace up to two of their character’s three class Skill Lines with those from the other six classes, as well as a new Hero’s Return system that encourages players to return to the game and for current players to assist the returnees.
