Dragon Quest X Offline Coming to Mobile in Japan This Week

Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest X Offline will be coming to iOS and Android in Japan. The single-player version of MMORPG Dragon Quest X — which released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in Japan in 2022 — will be available on mobile platforms on January 15, 2025.

Dragon Quest X is set on the world of Astoltia, which has five main continents and many islands. Players set out on an adventure to save Astoltia from its plague of demons, travelling across the continents inhabited by the eponymous five tribes: the Ogres, Wetlings, Elves,  Poppets, and Dwarves. The mobile Offline version will include both the base game and its first expansion, The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally, at launch.
