Fantasian Neo Dimension Gets Early Launch Trailer

Square Enix released a launch trailer for Mistwalker’s Fantasian Neo Dimension ahead of its arrival later this week. The minute-long video gives hint of the game’s story elements and a look at some of its diorama environments. Fantasian Neo Dimension will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on December 5, 2024.

Fantasian Neo Dimension is an enhanced version of 2021 Apple Arcade title Fantasian, which was originally released in two parts. Taking place in a multi-dimensional universe, it begins in a world ruled by machines and follows Leo, a young man who wakes up after a giant explosion in a strange land with only a single memory. Combat is turn-based and includes directional-based spells that players can aim and curve, while the graphics make use of 150+ dioramas created by Japan’s tokusatsu/special effects industry.  Those looking to read more about Fantasian can check out Jason McFadden’s impressions of the first and second parts of the Apple Arcade version.
