Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Action RPG Reynatis provides some interesting narrative and gameplay ideas. Unfortunately, its execution of those ideas does not make for a magical product.


Major News

NIS America revealed an early Valentine’s Day gift for western Trails fans. The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II will be launching in February next year.

Sandfall Interactive revealed its primary cast for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. A new trailer introduces characters portrayed by Charlie Cox, Jennifer English, Andy Serkis, Ben Starr, and more.

Another pair of Disco Elysium successor studios have been revealed. Dark Math Games is currently working on detective RPG XXX Nightshift, while Summer Eternal is billed as a new art collective / RPG studio.

NIS America released a demo for Nihon Falcom’s Ys X: Nordics. Players will be able to transfer their saved data to the full game when it launches later this month.

Doublequote Studio revealed that story-driven deckbuilding RPG HeistGeist will launch on Steam next month. The game follows street-smart thief Alexandra on the heist of a lifetime in a cyberpunk 2040s version of Central Europe.

NetEase Games announced Destiny: Rising, a free-to-play mobile title spin-off to Bungie’s Destiny franchise. A closed alpha is planned for next month.
