Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake Gets New Videos

Square Enix released a pair of trailers for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. A seven-minute gameplay video shows an optional quest at the Underground Lake as the party aims to find the faeries’ dreamstone. Meanwhile, a six-minute overview trailer gives an introduction to the game’s story, vocation system, exploration, turn-based combat, and other features.

Dragon Quest III originally released for the Famicom in Japan in 1988 and is the third title in the connected Erdrick saga. It takes place prior to the events of its predecessors, with the other two games set to release as Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake next year. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake will release on November 14, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
