River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next Announced

Arc System Works has announced a new Kunio-kun beat-’em-up title, River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next. The game is a sequel to 2021’s River City Saga: Three Kingdoms, which puts the cast of the series into a version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a historical novel set at the end of the Han dynasty in China. It will release worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024.

Kunio once again takes on the role of Guan Yu, with the game’s event covering six chapters from the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the Battle of Red Cliffs. Players can unleash special attacks as well as utilise ten different tactics while gaining experience and powering up their characters.
