Legends of Starkadia Announced

Developer Doom Turtle, previously known for its work on action roguelite Ember Knights, has announced the development of a new turn-based RPG, Legends of Starkadia. The game is in development for PC and can be wishlisted on Steam. As of this writing, no release window has been provided. The game draws inspiration from classic RPGs such as Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Undertale, and Paper Mario.

Legends of Starkadia puts players in the role of a teenager from Earth who becomes entangled in an interdimensional battle threatening the universe after being unwittingly teleported to the Starkadian Empire. With the aid of unlikely allies, players must defeat the empire’s extraterrestrial army. The game features strategic turn-based combat, twelve playable characters each with their own attributes and skills, and over nine planets to explore.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
