Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Beta Demo Coming to Switch Next Week

Level-5 announced that its beta test demo for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will release next week. The beta test will be available worldwide on Nintendo Switch at 11am GMT (7am EDT, 4am PDT) on March 28, 2024.

The beta test will include access to the game’s Competition Mode, where players can compete online or against bots, as well as training up their squad of players. There will also be a spectator mode to watch online matches. Players can select from up to 48 potential squad members. The beta test also includes an unlockable gallery, with the promise of a Story Mode to be added later.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road acts as a reboot for the series and will feature two main modes: Story Mode and Competition Mode. Story Mode tells a new story following Unmei Sasanami (Destin Billows in the English version), a boy who dislikes soccer and wishes to see it disappear, and Haru Endo, a soccer star standing at the top of the world. Meanwhile, Competition Mode sees players able to form a team from the over 4,500 players that appeared across the series as they take the Inazuma V Caravan across time, battling teams from the past. The game is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
