Tamarak Trail Release Date Announced

Developer Yarrow Games has announced that dice-oriented deck-building roguelike Tamarak Trail will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on February 29, 2024. It will cost $14.99 and is available for pre-order on Switch and Xbox platforms. There will be a 10% discount during launch week on Steam, where a demo is currently available. The demo allows players to explore the beginning section of the map and take on the first two bosses with the Detective character.

Tamarak Trail puts players in the role of a member of the Sturgeon Lodge, a secret society that is tasked with solving the mystery of a decaying world and finding the source of the corruption to end it once and for all. Players can choose between three characters — the Magician, the Tracker, or the Detective — each with their own unique set of abilities and skills. Players must strategize while journeying through procedurally generated paths, encountering events, monsters, campsites, treasure, and more along the way as they discover new bonuses. The game features turn-based combat utilizing fully customizable dice. Each roll of the dice determines the actions available that turn, including direct attacks, buffs, debuffs, and defence.
