Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 Launching End of the Month

HoYoverse announced its version 1.3 update for Honkai Star Rail. The update is titled “Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins” and will release on August 30, 2023.

The version 1.3 update adds new main story content to the game, including a new brand new area, the Exalting Sanctum’s Aurum Alley commercial hub. It adds three new playable characters: Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, a five-story Imaginary-Type character on the Path of Destruction; Fu Xuan, a five-star Quantum-Type character on the Path of Preservation; and Lynx, a four-star Quantum-Type character on the Path of Abundance. The update will also include new Simulated Universe content as players learn about the “Swarm Disaster” while taking on various challenges.

Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play turn-based RPG that tells its own standalone story in the Honkai universe. The setting features Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between its worlds and apply their principles to them. Players embark on a journey on the Astral Express along with other passengers looking to explore the universe and find out its secrets. Honkai: Star Rail is currently available on PC, iOS, and Android, with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions planned for Q4 2023.
