Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 Update Available Now

HoYoverse released its latest update for turn-based sci-fi RPG Honkai: Star Rail. The version 2.4 update, titled “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue”, sees the crew of the Astral Express return to the Xianzhou Luofu.

The update adds a new map, the Shackling Prison, which is overseen by the Ten-Lords Commission and houses many notorious criminals with its entrance hidden under the waters of the Scalegorge Waterscape. It also adds two new playable characters: Yunli, a five-star Physcial-Type sword hunter, and Jiaoqiu, a five-star Fire-Type alchemical master. Existing characters Sparkle and Huohuo will also have limited five-star reruns.

Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play turn-based RPG that tells its own standalone story in the Honkai universe and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The setting features Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between its worlds and apply their principles to them. Players embark on a journey on the Astral Express along with other passengers looking to explore the universe and find out its secrets.
