RPGamer Round-Up: July 16 – July 23

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed. Once upon a time, brave prince Redgi set out on a quest to save his kingdom and free his subjects. Pascal Tekaia reports on his adventure featuring rats, frogs, and one very familiar narrator.

With the 3DS eShop closed, the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection makes the first three Etrian Odyssey games easily accessible again for RPGamers. Matt Masem finds that the collection offers excellent HD recreations of some great dungeon crawlers.

Tyrion Cuthbert: Attorney of the Arcane doesn’t bother to try very hard to dispel its obvious inspirations. Alex Fuller reports that the fantasy take on Ace Attorney nevertheless delivers an engaging and enjoyable experience.

Major News

Square Enix has brought Dragon Quest spin-off Dragon Quest Treasures to PC. The game is available now on Steam, giving players another opportunity to help Erik and Mia obtain the seven Dragonstones.

Focus Entertainment and Deck13 released a new combat-focused trailer for Atlas Fallen. Players will be able to shape the sand in the action RPG next month.

Atlus released new English screenshots for Persona 5 Tactica. The images offer another look at the details revealed in Japan last week.

Double Eleven and Wizard Fu are partnering on the release of Wraithbinder. The action roguelite is set in the Songbringer universe and is currently undergoing a beta playtest on Steam.

Shueisha Games and Magnus Games Studios revealed working title Project Survival. The game looks to combine survival, crafting, monster-taming, and open world adventure.
