Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Trailer Shows First Set of Weaponry

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for the upcoming Sword Art Online: Last Recollection. The four-minute video is the first part of a set of weapon introduction trailers and introduces the one-handed sword, dual-wield, rapier, bow, dagger, katana, and scythe weapon types.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is planned as the last entry in the game series’s continuity. Its events are inspired by the main light novel/anime series’ Underworld War arc. It sees Kirito preparing for battle as the gate to the Dark Territory opens, threatening to unleash terror on the Human Realm in the Underworld, while in the real world, forces are attempting to evolve AIs through its warfare. Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is set to release on October 6, 2023, launch date for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
