Utawarerumono Zan 2 Announced

Aquaplus and Tamsoft have announced Utawarerumono Zan 2, a follow-up to spin-off action RPG Utawarerumono Zan. While its predecessor adapted the story of Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, Utawarerumono Zan 2′s main campaign mode features an adaption of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth.

Utawarerumono Zan 2 will add new story scenarios as well as a special challenge dungeon. It will also include multiple difficulty levels, as well as a new base area where players can upgrade facilities and characters, with the latter now having their own skill boards. An online cooperative mode will be available for up to four players.

Utawarerumono Zan 2 is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 22, 2021. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.
