Time-Bending RPG Clockwork Revolution Announced

During the Xbox Games Showcase, developer inXile Entertainment revealed its latest title, Clockwork Revolution. The game is a first-person action RPG with time-bending mechanics, with development led by Game Director Chad Moore and Principal Designer Jason Anderson, known for being game designers on Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura.

Clockwork Revolution is set in the Victorian-era metropolis of Avalon. It’s pioneering use of technology has allowed it to develop overhead steam trains, clockwork artificial limbs, and mechanical servants. However, it is under the control of Lady Ironwood, who has used a secret time-travel device to change key parts of Avalon’s history. Players are able to use the Chronometer to travel back in time and influence the past themselves. Those choices will change the future Avalon in major ways.

Clockwork Revolution is being developed for PC and Xbox Series X|S. The game does not currently have a release window.
