Mercenaries Saga, Wings Heading to Steam

Flyhigh Works revealed that more of Rideon’s Mercenaries tactical RPGs are heading to PC via Steam. The first four games in the series — Mercenaries Saga: Will of the White Lions, Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle, Mercenaries Saga 3: Gray Wolves of War, and Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix — will be receiving Steam releases, though release dates have not been announced. The PC versions are being developed with studio Esquadra.

The Mercenaries series is made up of standalone tactical RPGs, which each feature its own setting and story, and currently stands at seven games. The Mercenaries Saga trilogy was originally released for mobile phones in Japan. Mercenaries Saga 2 was later ported to smartphones in Japan before getting a Nintendo 3DS version that released internationally. The first and third games also received Japan-only smartphone versions, with Mercenaries Saga 3 also getting an international Nintendo 3DS release. The trilogy was later bundled in the Nintendo Switch Mercenaries Saga Chronicles release. Mercenaries Wings was the first game developed for consoles from the outset and is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
