Hyper Light Breaker Trailer Highlights Its World

Gearbox Publishing and Heart Machine released a new trailer for action RPG Hyper Light Breaker. The 90-second video highlights the game’s open world and some of the locations in it, before showing a mix of exploration and combat around them. The world features global day/night and weather cycles as well as a mix of handcrafted and procedurally generated elements that change between playthroughs.

Hyper Light Breaker is set in the same universe as Hyper Light Drifter but tells a separate story in a new land known as the Overgrowth. It features single-player and co-op multiplayer as players control Breakers looking to overthrow the Abyss King. Players explore large biomes while picking up items and weapons to create their character builds while surviving the mysterious Crowns and helping develop their home settlement. Hyper Light Breaker is planned to release on Steam Early Access in fall 2023.
