Final Fantasy XIV’s The Dark Throne Patch 6.4 Launch Date Announced

Square Enix held the latest Letter from the Producer Live presentation for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. The presentation, viewable in full below, focused on the upcoming Patch 6.4, The Dark Throne, announcing its release date. The update will release on May 23, 2023, with the reveal accompanied by its official trailer. The rest of the presentation featured a reminder of the previously-announced content included in the update, before going into deeper details about specific elements and showing some gameplay previews.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is the fourth expansion to the MMORPG — following Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers — and was released for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in December 2021.
