Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Launching in April

Capcom announced that the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, its collection of all mainline entries in the Mega Man Battle Network tactical RPG series will release on April 14, 2023. The collection will be available physically and digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Physical versions will include all ten games on one disc or cart. Players are able to digitally purchase separate Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 collections that are split as follows:

  • Mega Man Battle Network 3 White
  • Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 2

  • Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Protoman
  • Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Colonel
  • Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar
  • Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar

The Mega Man Battle Network series is set in the near future world of Net Society, with all of the mainline games released for Game Boy Advance between 2001 and 2006. The populace depends on computer programs known as Network Navigators (NetNavi) that manage everything, which has led to new opportunities for cybercriminals. Players control Lan Hikari and his NetNavi MegaMan.EXE as they explore the net and take part in grid-based combat.

The Legacy Collection will include optional high resolution filters, a gallery with over 1,000 pieces of concept art and illustrations, and a music player with over 180 tracks. The release will also include online battles and trading detailed in a new trailer featuring director Masakazu Eguchi, as well as rare Battle Chips previously released at Japanese promotional events.
