Terrorbane Gets New Details, Images

Developer BitNine Studio and publisher WhisperGames released new screenshots and details for comedic adventure RPG Terrorbane. The update introduces some of the quests players will embark on as they work with a developer to create the “perfect” video game, finding and squashing bugs throughout their journey across different environments.

The beginning town of Whiskerburg is inspired by classic NES and SNES JRPGs, where players must deliver three magical crystals to King Mustachio. Following their adventure in Whiskerburg, players may end up in Deadburg, a place where forgotten programs end up. To escape Deadburg, a place inspired by some of glitches in Pokémon Red and Blue, they will need to find missing scrolls buried within mazes. The final location introduced is Error 101, which is inspired by Windows 95 and 98. Here players act as a developer themselves, using menus to try and create the assets needed.

Terrorbane will release on April 1, 2022. The game will be available digitally on PC and Nintendo Switch.
