Curious Expedition 2 Reaches PS4, Xbox One Next Week

Thunderful Games and Maschinen-Mensch announced that Curious Expedition 2 will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17, 2022. The date will also see the release of the new Highlands of Avalon DLC on all platforms, which adds a new island type, a new hill and valley traversal mechanic, and the new Pict tribe, as well as new recruitable characters, equipment, enemies, and more.

Curious Expedition 2 is a narrative roguelike set in a reimagined late 19th century and is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game takes place in an alternate world where mysterious islands have begun to appear and vanish, with explorer clubs funding expeditions to bring back treasures to the 1889 World Fair in Paris. It features procedurally-generated worlds and storytelling with players required to manage their expedition’s resources and sanity.
