The Ascent Arriving on PS4, PS5 in March

Curve Digital announced that Neon Giant’s The Ascent will release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The top-down sci-fi action RPG — originally released for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S in 2021 — will launch on both consoles on March 24, 2022. In addition, the new Cyber Warrior Pack DLC is now available for the game on PC as well as a new free New Game+ mode update. The Cyber Warrior Pack is available for $4.99 and adds various new pieces of equipment to the game.

The Ascent is set in a corporation-run arcology following the collapse of the Ascent Group that owned the city and all of its denizens. This causes the automated security to run haywire, while other corporations and gangs look to assert control. Players investigate exactly what happened, ascending the arcology while improving their character’s skill and picking up loot.
