Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars Out Now

Square Enix has released card-based RPG Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. The game is the latest title from high-profile members of the Drakengard and NieR development teams, including Creative Director Yoko Taro, Executive Director Yosuke Saito, Music Director Keiichi Okabe, and Character Designer Kimihiko Fujisaka. It is available digitally for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, priced at $49.99.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is played and told entirely through cards. Players take control of the protagonist, who sets out on a quest to defeat a recently reawakened dragon. Joining him are his monster pal Mar and a dragon-hating witch named Melanie. Throughout the game, players make choices that affect the story and participate in turn-based battles reminiscent of tabletop RPGs.
