Genshin Impact Version 1.5, PS5 Release Set for Next Week

Developer miHoYo announced that its version 1.5 update and the dedicated PlayStation 5 version of Genshin Impact will launch on April 28, 2021. The update is titled Beneath the Light of Jadeite and includes new hangout events with Noelle and Diona, two new characters Eula and Yanfei, more story content following Zhongli, and more. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 5 version of the game promises 4k resolution support, enhanced textures, and faster loading times.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG set in the world of Teyvat. Players control a character known as “the Traveler” and must embark on a journey to find their missing sibling. They are joined by NPC companion Paimon, travelling in a party of up to four active members. The game was released for PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 4 in September 2020.
