Dark Envoy Trailer Teases Story, Gameplay

Developer Event Horizon released a new trailer and some screenshots for its upcoming title Dark Envoy. The minute-long video gives an insight to the game’s story themes and a quick tease of its real-time combat system, which players can slow down and pause.

Dark Envoy is a non-linear sci-fi/fantasy RPG following two siblings — Malakai and Kaela — in the world of Jäan. The world, which is embroiled in a conflict between magic and technology, shifts as time passes in-game, influenced by player decisions. The game features an assortment of recruitable companions and can be played solo or in two-player co-op. Dark Envoy is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
