Empire of Sin Update Announced

Romero Games and Paradox Interactive have announced a new update for Empire of Sin. The 1.03 patch is currently in open beta on PC. It includes changes to how safehouses are revealed, and players will no longer be taken straight to the safehouse for sitdowns with other crime bosses. It also features alterations to combat, with security guards becoming stronger, weapon balance adjustments, combat AI improvements, and a new mini-auto-resolve option being added. More details can be found on the game’s official blog.

Empire of Sin is a strategy RPG set in Chicago during the 1920 prohibition-era. Players select a crime boss and aim to build and expand their criminal empire by recruiting lackeys, bribing cops, and taking control of the black market. The game is available now on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Those looking to read more about Empire of Sin can check out Ryan Costa’s review of the PC version.
