Unsung Story Heading to Steam Early Access

Little Orbit has announced that tactical RPG Unsung Story will be arriving on Steam Early Access. A date for its Early Access release was not announced, but it is expected to contain the game’s first chapter, which consists of around four hours of play time, as well as six of the planned twenty classes in the full game. The game is expected to spend around one and a half years in Early Access before fully launching with all six chapters.

Unsung Story was first announced in 2014, when it underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. Developer Playdek abandoned work on the project in 2016, with Little Orbit taking over and purchasing all of the assets in 2017. The game’s story was envisioned by Ogre Battle and Final Fantasy Tactics creator Yasumi Matsuno, with music from Hitoshi Sakimoto. It follows the events and characters on both sides of a 77-year-long war in a non-linear order.
