Cyberpunk 2077 Drops Launch Trailer Ahead of Release

CD Projekt RED has released a launch trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of the game’s release on December 10, 2020. The trailer is cinematic in tone while also showing the scope of the game, showing glimpses of the locations and characters from the perspective of V, the protagonist.

Cyberpunk 2077 follows V who, after a failed heist for a computer chip that is rumored to offer immortality, is left for dead. Players will take control of V and navigate Night City, involve themselves with the local gangs and corporations, and hunt down the supposed “immortality chip”. The game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will also be receiving an upgraded version of the game sometime in 2021, but the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be playable on the respective successors.
