Mortal Shell Closed Beta Opened

Cold Symmetry and Playstack have announced that they have opened up the closed beta for Mortal Shell. The beta, which lets players visit the outskirts of Fallgrim and the Abandoned Chamber, can now be freely downloaded from the Epic Games Store.

Mortal Shell is an action Souls-like RPG where players possess the bodies of fallen warriors, using their shells as they navigate and battle across a desolate world. Each shell has its own combat style, with new talents and upgrades becoming available as players’ connections with them grow. The game is scheduled to release this year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
