KonoSuba Rerelease Confirmed for Japan This August

Developer Entergram has announced the Japanese release date of its dungeon-crawler KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Labyrinth of Hope and the Gathering of Adventurers! Plus. The game is an enhanced version of last year’s similarly-titled release, which was released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in June 2019. This new release is set for a release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 27, 2020. Neither version has been announced outside of Japan at this time.

Labyrinth of Hope and the Gathering of Adventurers! is based on the KonoSuba light novel and anime series. The upcoming version will incorporate several new features, including a large Goblin Dungeon that unlocks over the course of the game, twenty new Guild Quests, additional monsters and a Monster Dictionary bestiary feature, new character skills, and the ability to toggle between the original’s retro background music and a new orchestra-style version. The game will be available in a standard edition as well as a limited edition that includes a bonus costume download code, an all-purpose clear case, and a “Megumin & Yunyyun” towel.
