CrossCode Gets Console Release Date

Radical Fish Games’ retro action RPG CrossCode — originally published in 2018 for PC, Mac, and Linux — has received an official console release date. The game will be available digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 9, 2020, published in Europe and North America by Deck13, while DANGEN Entertainment is handling the Japanese release. Each platform, including the original PC releases, will include a questline and boss fight unique to it. Additionally, physical editions for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch by ININ Games will be available for retail purchase beginning on August 28, 2020, with limited SteelBook and Collector’s Editions for PS4, Switch, and PC available to pre-order now from Strictly Limited Games.

CrossCode is a 2D action RPG set in the near future that follows Lea, a mute girl who logs into an MMORPG. It was featured as a staff pick both in RPGamer’s Top Three Favourite Games of 2018 and RPGs of the Decade lists.
