CrossCode Arrives on Consoles

Radical Fish Games’ action RPG CrossCode has been released worldwide on consoles by European and North American publisher Deck13, with DANGEN Entertainment taking on Japanese publishing duties, with a new console launch trailer viewable below. The new PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions, as well as the original PC release, each feature an exclusive new questline and boss fight. The developers are also working on implementing a New Game+ mode for the console releases, as well as a large piece of upcoming DLC.

Some limited SteelBook and Collector’s Editions for PS4, Switch, and PC are still available to pre-order from Strictly Limited Games at the time of this writing. Additionally, physical editions for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch from ININ Games will be available for retail purchase beginning on August 28, 2020.

CrossCode was first released for PC and Mac in 2018. It is a 2D action RPG set in the near future that follows Lea, a mute girl who logs into an MMORPG. It was featured as a staff pick both in RPGamer’s Favourite Games of 2018 and RPGs of the Decade lists.
