Every now and then, a Musou title crosses over into the realm of something we cover at RPGamer. A quartet of these games from the worlds of Dragon Quest, The Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem somehow prompted one of our lengthiest dissertations yet.

Six hours?!! Nice work, backtrack team. I fiddled around with Hyrule Warriors for maybe 15-20 minutes on 3DS once, and bounced off it. I think it’s fair to say I did not give it a fair shake. It was my first musou game, and I did not understand where the challenge was. Felt like there was nothing to sink my teeth into. After listening to Phil et al wax lyrical for so long, though, I’m definitely inclined to give it another go!
