Downloadable Demo Coming for Langrisser I & II Remake

During its PAX South presentation, NIS America announced a free upcoming demo for the Langrisser I & II Remake collection expected to release this year. Coming just a couple of months before the game’s release date, no specifics have been revealed about the demo, but the publisher is promising more info soon via its social media channels.

The first Langrisser game was originally released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 in Japan in 1991 and brought to the west under the title Warsong. Langrisser II is set several hundred years after the first game, was originally released in Japan in 1994 for the Sega Mega Drive, and later remade for the Super Famicom under the title Der Langrisser. The remakes will include new graphics, voice acting, re-orchestrated music, and multiple quality-of-life improvements to the original release. Langrisser I & II will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in North America on March 10, 2020, with the European release following on March 13, 2020.
